Part of the Grupotel Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Aparthotel Mar de Menorca is situated around 400 metres from the Cala Canutells beach on the southern coast of Menorca.

The hotel is approximately 10km from the capital Mahon and the International Aeropuerto de Menorca airport, and a few steps from the centre of the resort where you will find a small selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1990 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern low rise Aparthotel Mar de Menorca has a total of 278 guest rooms, offering a choice of both 1 and 2 bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, all of which are distributed between 11 two and three storey buildings, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Aparthotel Mar de Menorca also offers the use of a conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 30 people theatre style, which is equipped with a selection of audio visual aids and modern furniture.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Aparthotel Mar de Menorca also offers the use of three hard surface tennis courts, along with a multi-purpose sports court for 5 a side football and volleyball etc, as well as a mini golf course and cardiovascular gymnasium.

The Aparthotel Mar de Menorca also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, pistol shooting and aerobics, along with evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
