Built in 1987, the modern low rise Costa Arenal complex has a total of 128 two bedroomed self catering apartments which are set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. All guest rooms on the complex are privately owned and furnished, and come equipped with a modern "en-suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette, which is typically equipped with a cooker, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, kettle and toaster, and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange desk, and luggage rooms for late departures. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include an outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
