Built in 1978 and extensively renovated during the winter of 1999, the modern Hotel Cala Galdana has a total of 240 guest rooms, including 24 single rooms, 204 doubles and a further 12 Suites, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst 20,000m2 of well kept Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the magnificent Bay of Cala Galdana.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini-bar, safety deposit box available for hire and either a balcony or terrace many of which have either sea or pool views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

The complex also offers guests the option of the Villas d'Aljandar which are 43 apartment type bungalows with two bedrooms, lounge, two bathrooms, kitchenette, mini-bar, balcony, digital telephone, television, safety lock, double glazing and air conditioning. In addition there are also 15 apartments with just one bedroom, one bathroom, balcony, dining-room, kitchen, mini-bar, telephone, television and air conditioning and also 18 luxury apartments with one bedroom with hydro-massage bath, lounge, telephone, television, mini-bar, air conditioning and large balcony.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes including vegetarian options, luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, public internet terminals, a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Cala Galdana also offers the use of a 450m2 air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 350 guests, which is fully equipped with a selection of the latest state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the bay which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a well equipped gymnasium, along with a Spa and Wellness Centre offering guests a Jacuzzi, sauna and solarium, as well as a variety of massage and other beauty treatments.

The Hotel Cala Galdana and Villas d'Aljandar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, pistol shooting and aerobics along with evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
