Built in 1996, the modern low rise Grupotel Club Playa has a total of 140 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are distributed between 8 two storey buildings, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, satellite television with music channels, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and mini club, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Grupotel Club Playa also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional indoor heated swimming pool with hydro-massage, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of the latest cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel Grupotel Club Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring archery, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
