Built in 1980 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern low rise Hotel Insotel Club Punta Prima has a total of 479 guest rooms that are set amidst almost 200,000m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, direct dial telephone and hair dryer, along with a separate double bedroom with a ceiling fan and direct dial telephone, an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa beds, ceiling fan, direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Club Punta Prima also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference centre, seating a maximum of 700 people, which is equipped with a wide selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests include a choice of three large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the sea which are furnished with parasols and loungers. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with 6 artificial grass and 2 resin tennis courts, 2 squash courts, an artificial grass football pitch and a multi-sports activity area for basketball and volleyball etc.

Guests staying at the Hotel Club Punta Prima also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an additional heated indoor pool, three Jacuzzis, caldarium, saunas, steam baths and cold plunge tubs, as well as a beauty and fitness centre offering a variety of cosmetic treatments including massages, body treatments, reflexology and lymphatic drainage along with a range of cardiovascular and body building equipment and aerobics classes.

The Hotel Club Punta Prima also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
