Built in 1990 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Hotel Sagitario Playa has a total of 72 guest rooms, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once each week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Sagitario Playa also provides a seasonal programme evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
