Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1987, the modern low rise Hotel Xaloc Playa has a total of 133 guest rooms, including 103 standard twin rooms, 18 singles and a further 12 Suites, which are located under pine trees in a separate area of the garden.

All guest rooms at the hotel come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 3 guest rooms at the Hotel Xaloc Playa have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with parasols and loungers. Other leisure facilities includes a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Xaloc Playa also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment four or five times each week, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows.
