Built in 1997 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern low rise Club Playa Apartments has a total of 193 guest rooms, including 181 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and a further 12 studio flats, which are built over 3 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the Club Playa Apartments are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental, direct dial telephone, satellite television and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a choice of both Thai and à la carte restaurants, offering traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's sections, and spacious sun terraces and gardens that are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, along with a hard surface tennis court and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Club Playa Apartments also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the apartments' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a small cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Club Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
