Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1996, the modern low rise Sa Caleta Playa complex has a total of 107 one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, a direct dial telephone and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange desk and luggage rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the complex, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of 3 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools, including one with a children's water slide, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

The Sa Caleta Playa Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
