Built in 1982 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1996, the modern low rise Siesta Mar complex has a total of 240 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 3 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms on the complex come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, mini-oven and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, ceiling fan, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided 3 times a week, with towels changed 3 times each week and bed linen twice.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange services, and luggage rooms for late departures, along with a small on-site supermarket, an air conditioned restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a choice of three large outdoor freshwater swimming pools, including one with waterslides, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Siesta Mar Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
