Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Vistamar complex is a small development of 45 self catering studio type apartments, which are built over 4 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the beach.

Many of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished, and will typically come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings and refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and luggage rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
