Mercat del Claustre del Carme
A market of various establishments situated in the old cloisters of the Carmen church. Here one can find stalls with fruit and vegetables from Minorcan farms. There is also a supermarket, children’s clothes shops, teenager clothes shops, island products, butcher’s shops, lingerie shops, shoe and “avarca” sandal shops, a cafeteria, a haberdasher’s shop, a fashion jewellery shop, a herbalist’s, a florist’s, a ceramic and glass workshop, a music shop and a dried fruits shop. On the upper floor there is a public library of the Joan Rubió foundation. During the summer, cultural and entertainment events take place in the cloister’s central square.

Mercat del Peix (Fish Market)
A market with all kind of Menorquian fish.
Location: Plaça Espanya
Frequency: Tuesday to Saturday all year round

Mercat Ambulant De S'Esplanada
The largest travelling market of the municipality. Various textile and decorative goods can be found at the market.
Location: Plaça de s'Esplanada
Frequency: Every Tuesday and Saturday throughout the year

Mercat Ambulant del Parc Rochina
The only travelling market located in the port of Maó. Various goods are to be found here, from T-shirts to leather goods. When a cruise ship visits the port in the summer period, a Minorcan folk dance show is performed in the market square at around midday.
Location: Plà de Baixamar at the port of Mahon
Frequency: Everyday from the 1st May to the 30th of October

Mercat Artesa de Mahon
A market of handmade goods, offers to visitors a good variety of artistic crafts and menorquin gastronomic products.
Location: Plaça de s'Esplanada
Frequency: Every Wednesday during June, July and August

Fira de Nadal (Christmas Market)
Market with all kind of Christmas items
Location: Plaça de la Conquesta
Frequency: First weekend of December
